Distress Vs. Urgency

After reading AIM 6-3-1 on Distress and Urgency procedures Im curious what would be considered an urgency situation.

Perhaps a bird strike that hasn't damaged the aircraft beyond control, maybe icing that is building rapidly.

Anyone think of others? Im building a handout on the subject for my students and am interested in input.

It's not "bread bread"?, I typically get distressed when I get hungry.

A partial loss of power on a single engine would be a good reason to pull the "pan-pan pan-pan pan-pan."

This occured to me recently: I noticed slow but steady loss of engine oil press while temp increased. All indications were still in normal ranges but the trend information was not conducive to a happy outcome. I had already turned direct to the non-towered airport and advised company traffic of my intentions. This was an "Urgent" situation and the "E" word was next in my mind.

Inspection revealed an oil line had separated.
