Hey Delta Guys

I'm going to DXB on the 18th. Here are the loads:

ATL DXB 18APR 940P 19APR 750P DELTA 77L N/A 8/9(business) (43) 32/53(Coach) (233)

and my second option is

ATL DXB 19APR 940P 20APR 750P DELTA 77L N/A 17/18 (43) 61/83 (233)

My question is, if this were a domestic flight, 9 open seats in business means your sitting in the coach. Is it the same for international? If so, then I'm just going to go on the 19th with 18 open seats and make sure I get a good seat.

Sorry to sound picky, but this will be my 4th time doing this flight and the middle seat for 16 hours is getting kind of old.

Thanks

Business class is a heck of alot easier to get on international than domestic. On domestic flights they offer 1st class/business class standby upgrades for a specified amount. They don't offer those upgrades on Intl flights. But it also depends on how many nonrevs are listed and where you stand priorty wise on the list.

When I went to Madrid last summer they left revenue coach people behind(coach was oversold) and I got on one of the few business elite seats left as a nonrev.

mrivc it depends on how many nonrevs are listed. Generally we fall pretty low on the priority totem pole. So if there are a bunch of nonrevs on the 19th but none on the 18th... it might sway you that way. 8/9 is nothing to worry about if there aren't many nonrevs but being 2 weeks away I'm sure both flights will fill up.

There's five nonrevs

Isn't that the best !?! HA! One note: Hide those Crew tags, people left behind get a little pissed when they see a nonrev getting on and they are stuck.
