Anyone fly through the Northeast today?

Soul Brotha'

Off to go do Black guy stuff
Probably not. Delays were up to 6 hours. We got in from STL late morning and it was 1/2sm and vv001 basically all day. DTW using 27L for t/o and landing only. It was an hour plus for t/o from push. We had to hold to get into ALB. Crazy weather.

Had one (1) turn to do today. Constantly delayed for 3 hours, then CX'd right after i finished my preflight and my butt was in the right seat.

Oh well.... haha

"Fly" is a very subjective term. I spent more time in the block/gate waiting for LGA to lift FIVE CONSECUTIVE ground stops than I did in the air.

When they have to flip to the 27s, DTW becomes a total cluster. Not only do the pilots not no where they're going, ATC ground has no clue either.

Still on furlough. However, being kept on as contract until full time returns shortly. Flew in/out of Plattsburgh, NY.

Before you even leave for the airport the COex flight to EWR cancels, get to the airport see whats going on. 1100 flight to PHL is suposed to leave at 4, 100 JFK flight somehow is on time. Get on JFK airplane and go sit by the end of the runway for 3 hours, watch 1100 PHL flight take off at 200. Watch BOS flight take off at 300. Lady gets pissed that she is going to miss a funeral at 400 in NYC, (who books a flight getting into JFK at 3 trying to get to a funeral at 4?:banghead:) Eventually return to the gate, flight is cancelled. 500 flight to JFK is cancelled, 300 flight to PHL is cancelled. Drive home.

so the answer to that is no.

That was the flight that left for PHL at 2, they took the scenic route for sure.

My day was great showed in State College @ 7AM, flew to PHL which was originally 2 hours late but the center guy let us go anyway (not sure how that worked) took a nap in a day room for 3 hours, then to BUF where the LGA leg was cx and we repo'd back to domicile, back at home 3 hours early and 4 hours of less block than scheduled!

Scheduling called me the next day at 1:30 AM to junior man me (I'm #3 in base mind you) but I wasn't legal due to the "bottle to throttle rule". Sucks.

lol.. my 3:20 dept. from pit was airborn at 1220 am... so no, not the today you were talking about.

Same day we took an 8hr 27min delay on our first flight (P1410), then, after asking for a quick turn on the in-range call, managed to turn the airplane in a stunning 2hrs 14mins. That's right. A 2 hour long quick turn, thanks to some stellar work by the gate agent. Fridays...I swear...I don't know what it is, but I think I'm REALLY going to hate working every Friday this month!
