What is a good FBO in San Antone?

LZZ gots the cheap gas. I always fly direct LZZ from DFW in order to avoid all the restricted areas and those damned whirley birds.

that would take me through the 30 mile, but not the 6 so that should be ok.

Im just sorta thinking I'd prefer not to fill up twice, you know?

Can also fly directly into KSAT, park at nayak and as long as you get gas there is no tie down fee (last I checked.) But the gas is a lot pricier.

Well, gas at CVB is now 2.99/gallon, a little cheaper than LZZ's 3.65/gallon. If renting, probably doesn't make that big a difference anyway...but it is a buck cheaper than over at Stinson.

Actually, take a nice trip up to Llano (AQO) and have some Cooper's BBQ and pay 2.65 a gallon...they almost ALWAYS have the cheapest gas around and the BBQ ROCKS!!!

The 30 mile TFR is not in effect anymore.

I know, I was just saying.

Oh, I see how it is now..;)

It's all good mang...CVB is a nice, sleepy airport. One drawback is there is very little maintenance on the field, but I know a few A&P/IAs out there if you need them...not that you would, of course! And we're still on for Sunday, right?

:laff:

Yeah I called the airport manager (Bob) and asked him if I needed to reserve a tie down or anything and he was like like reserve? :laff: just find a spot and tie down, all we ask is you buy a little fuel. Seems like a cool airport just from that.:D

Oh yeah, for sure man. Should I plan to get up early still?
