Frankfurt/Wiesbaden, Germany

I sense Photoshop and heavy use of the Shadow/Highlight feature in pic two, yes?

I actually think it creates an interesting effect for the picture. The fourth is pretty cool as well.

A little bit but not too much... about 8%.... the halo effect around the steeples comes from using the multiply option after just selecting the sky and then using a Gaussian blur after that. It's got a lot of vibrance added, and medium sharpening and it was run through alienware exposure once but honestly I don't remember which filter I used on this one.

All my pictures get a little touch up on CS4 or Lightroom2 ... the 1st one is a HDR image that I did with photomatrix.

Next time you hit FRA, make sure you go to the hookah bar down the street from the hotel.

Especially since the Pinte is closed now :( Poor Jorg!

Made friends with the owner of the Irish pub by the big church.... that's almost as bad as going out with Jorg.

Jorg is still cooking at the main restaurant and all the Delta deals are still in effect.

Speaking of 48's, I have a 48 in NCE this weekend. Pointers?

If the weather is nice (HA!) hop on the train over to Monte Carlo. I did that on my 96 hour layover last year. Expensive as all hell but, just to say that you have been in the Grand Casino of Monte Carlo is pretty freakin cool. Also, drink beer and drool at the destroyers and battleships that have been converted to yachts.

Also, the little grocery store behind the hotel has great, cheap wine (3-5 euro) and you can just hang out on someone's balcony. That way you don't have to drink too much of the ten dollar beer at Waynes.

Nice. I do all of my editing with CS2. Yeah, it's old, but I got the whole suite for $222 back in college. Student discounts FTW!

Me too. Besides a more robust HDR editor, I don't really know what CS3 is so much better at doing vs. CS2 (?) And Photomatix is better for HDR anyways.
