***PUBNAT4***

What I was told last week was if we didn't hear by Friday the 6th then you are pretty much S.O.L. They did say that there is another pubnat opening up pretty soon.

there has to be more to come out because i was told i was selected on the phone and recived an hr contact but pepc invite

Someone mentioned 30% still remaining on Wednesday, but I haven't heard a thing since.

I was the one they told that to, and apparently it was misinformation. It seems the FAA has that special knack of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

I think I might be hopping on that boat pretty soon.

Qualifieds are NOT being hired. Too many well qualified that could be placed instead. Just an FYI as I saw your score in your post history.

From the 'other' air traffic control website:

Just spoke with Aviation Careers in OKC. I wasnt selected. She said no qualified scores were being hired. No big surprise, but I was hoping a pilot's cert, 2 degrees, work exp. might push me further towards the top.
I asked a couple of other questions and then thanked her for telling me I wasnt selected, so I could move on with other plans. Then, get this, she told me "congratulations!" Talk about adding insult to injury! Sheessh.

I am there with you. Pm me if you hear anything. I think we are the last ones on here that were told and haven't got the email.

I still haven't received a follow up to my intial PEPC invite. When do we have to complete the E-QIP? And where exactly is the NY PEPC located? Any help would be appreciated.

The location is at the FAA Regional offices in Jamaica NY. If you search the thread "NYC PEPC peoples" you will get the location. You should have your
e-qip no later than 10 days before the PEPC.

If I were you, I would be getting on the phone and calling my HR Rep. Just a thought.

Hey I am new on here and had something weird happen. I made the referral list, have a scheduled PEPC in LA in April and just looked on ASAP again and now it says under Referral List:

Referral list FA-AAC-09-18019: Issued on 01/08/2009 for the Throughout The Nation duty location at the FG-1 grade/payband.
Another candidate has been selected for announcement # AAC-AMH-08-PUBNAT4-09989 for which you applied. We appreciate your interest in employment with the Federal Aviation Administration. Please continue to check the website for vacancies of interest to you.

Has this happened to anyone else? Or could it have been a mistake? I don't understand because I have a scheduled PEPC date and everything.

Did you only apply to PUBNAT 4 or could you have been picked up on another application? Mine says that as well but I was technically picked up during pubnat 2.

No, I just applied to PUBNAT 4. I e-mailed my HR rep so hopefully I will hear something.

Did you apply to multiple announcements?

I just logged into ASAP and sure enough, mine says the same thing. However, I'm not amongst those that were selected for a PEPC.

I tried to make heads or tails of this thread and I am struggling. I have a friend who applied for the Pubnat 4 posting and ONLY that posting. He scored an 89 on his AT-SAT.

The notification he received on ASAP was:

Referral list FA-AAC-09-18019: Issued on 01/08/2009 for the Throughout The Nation duty location at the FG-1 grade/payband.
A list of the most qualified applicants has been sent to the office with announcement # AAC-AMH-08-PUBNAT4-09989. Your application was not
included at this time. Please continue to check back for status updates.

Does anyone know if the selection for Pubnat 4 has been completed? If not, when is the remaining portion of the selection intended to occur? He is a teacher and his contract is up for renewal and wanted to have his fate decided before he makes his decision

PM me if you have any clear information to share.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone who has been selected already, see you in OKC this summer and good luck in your careers!

Yeah, unfortunately, PUBNAT4 is over. It's now on to the waiting game for PUBNAT5, PUBNAT6, and so on and so forth.

Hey there. Did anyone in this PUBNAT select Michigan as a preference? If so, what came of it?

Also, did anyone get Michigan and had selected something else entirely?
