Hold the door when you're out of the bathroom!

European LCC Ryanair is thinking about putting a coin slot on the door of their Lav's, charging pax 1 Pound to use the bathroom during flight.

Considering Ryanairs reputation, they may end up changing a lot of upholstery preeeeeetty darn soon. :rotfl:
If I'd have to pay for a john in an airplane, I'd intentionally develop a slight aiming problem... or forget to hold it... ahhhh jeeez, what a mess.

Ma'am, this gatorade tastes like Pl$$, believe me it does!

Marketing genius, that is. Instead of just raising a ticket price 1 pound, which people would never notice, we'll piss them off by charging them to take a leak.

Fortunately the flight times in Europe are pretty similar to what we fly at PSA. SHORT!
My worst experience ever in an airplane was about 8 yrs ago. Back then I was in telecom and was heading home to Amsterdam from London on a BMI flight outta Gatwick. Of course I had about 5 pints of ale (yes at British cellar temperature). I hit the head and boarded. Unfortunately we had a one hour delay for traffic flow. I bet the PM didn't even get "positive rate" outta of their mouth before I made a desperate dash to the loo. I took the gentle rebuke from the BMI flight attendant as I returned to the seat about 8 lbs lighter. he he he

I would just leave a steamer right in front of the Lav door.

I wonder if the crew have a master key or if they have to pay.

I still like the PFP Program. Pay For Pressurization.

$.50/pound/person. Insert your quarters into the slot on the seat in front of you.

"Oh, I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen, the lady with 4 kids in seats 9A, C, D, E and F didn't want to pay. You enjoy your nap..."

It's going to catch on soon.

I love how he says, hey, we're trying to keep the cost of flying low.

Bullcrap! You're raising the cost of flying. Sure, you sell cheap tickets. But then you charge for checked bags, you charge for overhead bin space, you charge for aisle and window seats, you charge for drinks, and now you're charging to use the toilet?

I tell you what I'd do if I was ever on one of those flights. Gee, I missed. Oh, shoot, did that carpet get all smelly? Whoops. You know, it's hard to pee accurately when there's all that turbulence.

They'd have to change the carpet and that would cost them a hell of a lot more than a pound.
