Blue Grass Airport Mismanagement

its a game.

Raised plank at a 30 degree angle or so. Stand back 12-15 feet, get the bean bag in the hole that is in the plank.

Ok, not at all what I was thinking.

:rotfl:

On topic... I see this trend of expense watch-dogging these days. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be a slippery slope. These expenditures feed money back into the economy, when few are spending. I'm not condoning the NASCAR team-building experience, but there are many expenses that could easily be twisted as non-essential, which actually do serve a legitimate purpose as well as help the economy.

I've never been a big supporter of bail-out money to failed companies, but this reminds me a lot of the situations we've seen over the past few months with bailed out companies being lambasted for having parties to appreciate their employees. To me, that's the closest our tax money gets to directly helping the working class (i.e. in the form of hospitality workers and other travel industry professionals).

But that money could've been used to rebuild bridges and roads. :sarcasm:

Haha! I love it when non-Greater Cincinnati residents hear of Cornhole for the first time! I had exactly the same reaction when I first heard of it.

The local bar in the neighborhood has a Cornhole setup.

Ah, I stand corrected then. All the Cincinnatians told me it was a local thing when I moved here.

We also played it a lot down in Richmond, KY (EKU)... but then again it may have been brought down there too with all the students.

*On topic* this article is what you were telling me about a few weeks ago. I had no clue that was going at LEX until you said something.

*off topic again* Cornhole is not just a local Cincinnati, its one game that could quite possibly sum up college everywhere. Oh ya and beer pong as well.

Here in London, KY (hour South of LEX) we've had articles in the paper about this issue for a couple of months now! It's unfortunate. However, my feelings about LEX are negative. Is it just me or does that whole airport need a little more professionalism? They just seem as if they're not that put-together. Hope this doesnt offend anyone, just my own observations. Much rather fly from TYS with the airlines, and much rather fly myself to TYS for a bite to eat. My instructor that I got my PPL under is now having his students do their controlled field flights to TYS.
