I want to fly back home in Southeast Alaska where rubber boots are a required part of the uniform
I'm always well groomed with my hair, nails and makeup well within company standards, and believe me, management DOES notice.
Oh my, yes! There's just somethin' about that "professional, I take pride in my work and myself" look that makes me forget my own name.men seem to dig the FA uniform.![]()
Absolutely, no question.:nana2:A woman in uniform is really attractive.
As a CAP Officer, let my just say eww.Best way to pick up CAP cadets. "You will RESPECT my Authoritay!"

I due have the privilege of wearing the CAP version of the Air Force Uniform. I like wearing it because it reminds me of the importance of service to my nation and the obligation I have to uphold the good name of all the men and women who have served and are serving this country.
Oh, sweet genius, you go to K-State. I remember seeing those uniforms when y'all hosted nationals for NIFA. You have to wear those monkeysuits to classes too? Yikes. We have to wear them to our aviation classes and to fly...and when I go somewhere around town between classes, people ask me about flying...

I can't wait to have to wear an actual uniform (and not just a polo and khakis) because it will mean that I have finally arrived! :nana2:
As is one out of uniform.
So the FAs at SWA haven't "arrived?"![]()
:yup:
That uniform (of course, IMHO), is totally unprofessional.
I know, I know...this has been discussed before)![]()
We can get into this, but all I'm gonna say is we have some FAs that have very professional looking, well pressed uniforms that I would rather have directing traffic than trusting them with passengers' lives. They also like to talk on their cel phones in plain view of passengers.....sometimes while boarding. But, hey, they look good doing it.

3. Discounts on Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts (the DD in the Airways terminal at LGA nixed the $1.00 crew coffee. I was TICKED to pay $2.07 last week!!!)
They still look funny though. Professional.. maybe. Goofy wanabe college kids, definitely! (nothing wrong with that though...)yeah, genius, we do have to wear them to our aviation classes...I don't see the 'big problem' in wearing them, it's getting a person ready actually be professional in a professional field..if you talk to most people who wear them, they don't mind it.
I bet they were probably the most professional looking team at NIFA? Unlike those spartan guys that jump up and down and yell every time a gulfstream rotates off the runway...
Sorry, didn't mean anything by it. Other than that I would hate having to go to class dressed like that. I think even in airline groundschool they don't dress up (ask a guy on here named amorris about that).yeah, genius, we do have to wear them to our aviation classes...I don't see the 'big problem' in wearing them, it's getting a person ready actually be professional in a professional field..if you talk to most people who wear them, they don't mind it.
