Got my confirmation for PEPC!!!

"Thank you for your response. We are confirming that you will be attending the ATCS PEPC at the FAA Eastern Regional Office..."

More forms to fill out and they give the exact location of the office.
No lunches are scheduled and they expect it to take from 5.5 to 7.5 hours. :laff:

Hey Talon, just curious, did you put down Amarillo on your original app? Or did that come out of nowhere?
 
Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the New York Air Route Traffic Control Center in Ronkonkoma, New York

Although, I applied to the 12/08 CTI announcement and PUBNAT4, I believe this is from the CTI list, but atleast East coast e-mails are going out now...
 
Dose anyone have any info on the AZ and NV emails? I've seen the east and west coast mid west emailsl but nothing from the south west states(NV, AZ, NM)
 
For those of you keeping stats, a good friend of mine going through the process who does not post on here just received Jackonsiville, FL, Center.

So center emails are going out too.

I don't know if they have a significant need there, as they have (so I was told) about 100 trainees there. I'm assuming that like every other center, they have a number they have to pick up and there aren't many people stating it as a preference. So us lucky folks just get pulled in there.

In my case, I did put Tennessee as a preference, but I stated that I would have liked Chattanooga or Knoxville since they're a bit closer to where I live now. I'm assuming that they interpreted that as I wouldn't mind going anywhere in Tennessee, so I ended up with ZME. That's why when asked about how to choose your preferences, I have always been adamant about only listing states where you are willing to go ANYWHERE in that state. I'm going to have to live with it because it was a "choose this or nothing at all" situation for me, but it should just serve as a warning to anyone in the future to consider your preferences carefully, even if it means being passed up on one application.
 
You know what would be baller? I wish they would send out emails for those who HAVE NOT been selected, that way, we could quit driving ourselves batty! Anyone agree on that?

Yeah, I agree. I picked enroute only as well and got an invite for terminal so this whole this is screwed up. Applied for pubnat 2 and got an invite at the 3/4 panels. So who knows whats going on....
