I put that Friday was my preferred day for the PEPC with Thursday being my second choice, and I got an e-mail back that said they'd happily schedule me for Friday,though there may not be any done that day, so it would be best to pick Wednesday or Thursday. Just an FYI for you Terminal folks that want to pick Friday...

I applied for both PUBNAT 3 and 4. Am I right to assume that we will NOT be getting emails for both? That we'll only be getting one email? I scored a 99.4 on the ATSAT and geo prefs were a bit different for both PUBNATs.

I selected both terminal and enroute for both geo prefs. I listed California and limited it to some counties that are local and more desireable in the first one, with Washington being my second choice. In the PUBNAT4 I listd all of Cali and New York.

Figured I'd get something out of that. Since I did include the California County that has Oakland Center in it, I fear that I've been selected there. Maybe that's why I haven't gotten that bloody email yet.

Well thats freakin' great, considering all of us who live on the east coast and might actually find it convienient to go to a PEPC in NY, will probably have to fly at least to Chicago, if not LA. Why not give the people applying on the East Coast a chance to go to the East Coast PEPC? Instead, all the people in the midwest and west coast who got their emails early are signing up for NY. How much sense does this make?

The only people who will get in on the last day Friday are the ones sitting by their computers hitting the refresh button all day long expecting the email. I work two jobs and have no time to do that, so I guess I'm heading to LA, if I'm lucky enough to get picked of course. Oh well. :banghead:

Anyways... I agree though but I will try to make it to the Chicago PEPC. This will give me enough time to prepare... if they even select me

I agree, I'd hate to have to fly to Chicago or LA when I'm about 10 min away from Jamacia, NY but if thats what it takes to get hired then so be it I guess.

I agree. As soon as i applied, I learned to stop thinking in a rational form, and to start thinking how a 5 year old would do stuff! It's been working out great so far!:banghead:

You know that would make sense. It really would. But, thus far it seems to make zero sense. Maybe this is their way of weeding out people? To see if you are willing to make the extra effort to fly all the way across the country just to do this.

Idk, I am doubtful, but still hoping for an email.
