***PUBNAT4***

Yes, however, did you not say that you gave the lady in OKC your SS number and she confirmed you?

Yeah. I'm just surprised there are so few center people.

I wonder what the hold up is on emails if there are only 100.

Also, the PEPC sees 50 people each day, so that would only really required 2 days for the center people. But from emails, it looks like each PEPC will have two center days.

Something doesn't seem right with the 100 number.

Yeah. I'm just surprised there are so few center people.

You'll get an email. I don't think Centers are losing people like Terminals. Plus, we don't know how many people on PUBNAT3 and PUBNAT4 chose a center over terminal. Maybe they didn't have so many to choose from.

Don't sweat it. One of the FAA employees who you probably received the email from was off yesterday and is off today. However, their peers are going through those replied and confirming today and early next week. You will get your email soon.

Also, to everyone who is going nuts because you haven't received an email. Remember, over 800 people were selected (700+ for terminal). Only about 20 people on both PUBNAT3 and PUBNAT4 threads have confirmed a PEPC invite. There are plenty of of emails still coming. :)

Thanks, I got it... just impatient thats all. Thought maybe I messed something up. NYC in Feb!

No complaints here if we have lots of slots then I can get the PEPC I want. Now in the interest of intra-agency relations I would appreciate an e-mail before I begin to loathe my brethren who have received theirs.

This is true, but I also don't think 25% of those 800 people are here on JC either...so who knows how many other emails went out.

Correct, but it seems by all responses that the FAA is doing emails by region. The midwest are receiving theirs. The FAA is broken into several different regions. Thus, maybe other regions are slower or for some other reason have not released the emails (or given the go ahead to release emails). 800 +/- names is a lot of names to process even in a few days let alone one.

I have a feeling this thread along with PUBNAT3 is about to light up with excitement.

I was one of the few that was leaked information from the careers line last week. There were a couple of people there that were telling those that called where they were selected for until their superiors told the to cease and desist.

Good luck to you. I am hoping for ZME as well. I was getting a little nervous not seeing an e-mail, but it appears that you have not received one either, so that makes me breathe a little easier.

So I have a question: On my geo pref email, I put down that I only wanted en route since that is where my experience is. I read here that they send those emails out on Monday and Tuesday. Is that accurate in any way, or is that just speculation?

Just curious.....

Possibly, but do you REALLY think 800+ names are too much for them to handle?! It's an email, not like they have to hand deliver them. Geez! I d understand that these are "individual" emails with unique info to each person, but it's really not that high tech in today's world.

Here's to more waiting!!

I don't think so. I think they meet at the PEPCs on Monday and Tuesday.

Yes, if they have to figure out how many people are on both PUBNAT3 and PUBNAT4. Then, sort through to make sure people don't get double offers and other such things.

did everyone that got an email yesterday get the pepc confirm today already? I responded right away yesterday but didnt recieve anything today...

I called the phone number on my e-mail and the woman's recording said she was out of the office until Monday the 2nd. So I will be calling Monday afternoon if I haven't gotten a response by e-mail saying they got my request.

hey, guys. I'm new to the thread, but in the mix with you guys. I too am currently waiting to get my confirmation. I applied for pubnat4, 94.1 on ATSAT and got my geo prefs, but still waiting for that glorious e-mail to come across. Getting a little nervous, as i live in Kansas City and other midwesters have already gotten theirs.

I stated an explanation on that a few posts back.

What makes you think Friday is an "overflow" day? They usually fill both days equally, it's just a matter of preference.

This is the email for the invite. What else would you call it. Sounds like an "overflow" day to me.

"We have scheduled PEPCs for the weeks of:

February 23, 2009 in Jamaica, NY,
March 23, 2009 in Chicago, IL, and
April 20, 2009 in Los Angeles, CA.

All terminal candidates will be processed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of those weeks. Wednesday and Thursday interview slots will be filled first. We will be processing approximately 50 candidates per day. Once those slots are completely utilized, candidates will be scheduled for interviews on Friday if needed."
