Compass furloughs?

Heard a rumot today that Compass will be announcing furloughs soon? Word is 30 pilots?

Can anyone confirm?

Hope not...a bunch of our RAH furloughees went over there and just finished training. That would blow...though we recalled more this past week, so if it is true, maybe they'll still get their jobs back here.

About another 20 were recalled, though quite a few of them are bypassing the recalls. Something seems to be "up", but we can't figure out what. They just put out a memo that they're adding 10 check airman on the Republic cert., but who knows why...

That still leaves about 115 or so, though the recalls are suppose to continue.

I'm not from Republic, but that's great news to hear. At least someone has the ball rolling consistantly in the right direction.

A lot of that going around. Pinnacle just added more check airmen, and from what I understand, we've also put in a request for more APDs as well. Kinda odd for an airline with zero vacancies, hiring or movement right now....
