They do not send you a confirmation email after you put in for your geo prefs? How do you know they got it? That could make the difference in everything! :cwm27:

Have you tried emailing? They tend to respond pretty quickly if you email (usually within 30 mins)... I never tried contacting Micki, but that's been my experience with a few others
 
Hmmm..... PUBNAT 7 has posted now.
They mention on the USAJOBS posting that
**THE ATO HAS A PARTICULAR HIRING NEED IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA.**
 
Isn't the referral list generated just before the panels start? I could have sworn I read that in some of the PUBNAT2 threads anyway.

Although, I'm not sure how much sense that makes, since I thought part of the function of the quarterly panels is to actually create that list.

Regardless, I know I read claims that they are created about a 1-2 weeks before the scheduled panel in the previous pubnats.

Who knows though, with the holidays in the way and whatnot.

it is created before...usually only a few days before.
 
PUBNAT2's referral list went up the day panels started... panels were on 9/8 and that's when ASAP changed too...

I think the only things that will keep you off the referral list are disqualifying things like not meeting the work/school requirements or failing the AT-SAT. Otherwise everyone gets on the list. It's the panels themselves that do what you're talking about.

The referral list is merely the ranked list that the panels use to order the applicants.

The referral list is supposedly computer generated and I've heard that it's based on your AT-SAT score, geo prefs, and nothing else. If you didn't meet the work/education requirements, you wouldn't have taken the AT-SAT in the first place :crazy:

Humans don't actually see your application until the panels... or so I've been told.

You're correct, I was confusing the referral list with panels. I don't think that's my first either....
