Hello fellow pubnat4 waiters.
ive been trolling these forums since pubnat4 came up on ASAP and i'd like to say that i think its bs that a pubnat that was 2 months before ours is 5 months ahead of us.
oh well. back in line!:crazy:

well. i applied to pubnat2 first after telling a coworker about the job.
he applied and got a test date; i didnt because i sent my application to late. but then i sent mine before he did.
i dunno how i missed pubnat3
but pubnat4 must be where i belong:buck:

Something else must've been wrong with your PUBNAT2 application... I'm not sure how you got it in too late... I don't think that's possible
Anyway... in that case, you can complain a little
Hopefully everything works out for us with PUBNAT4... I really don't want to wait for 5 or 6 or... :banghead:

I am going off the logic of all those who applied for one and two probably also applied for three and four. Then, all those that did apply, they whittled the list down to those who didn't pass the application process. And for those who were accepted, they whittled it down even further to those who didn't pass the test.
So here's hoping to the combo email coming in November!

They didn't have Pub 2 Panels select until after all Pub 1 Pepc's were complete. I got a feeling that Pub 3 may not meet until after all Pub 2 Pepc's are complete. This ensures that they can select people for facilities in need that had pub2 applicants not make it through the pepc process...
just my opinion... I am hoping you guys are not waiting long. I agree that they should combine pubnat 3&4.

If they were to combine would there be more people for the same openings? Or would it even out. I am all about getting things rolling. I didnt get in till 4 and didnt know about 5 and 6 till just after 6 closed so I am stuck till 7 if I dont make 4.... . Plus I have still not received my sccore yet!!!!

That was the message that I was trying to get across in my earlier post. Is that there are folks who applied for PUBNAT 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 that may have been selected in one or two. If that is the case, the number of successful applicants to that point (ie passed the at-sat waiting for geo pref email) will start to dwindle.
I just can imagine that they are going to take their time. And as wyopoke said, I can imagine that they will wait until after the Nov. and Jan PEPCs before they send out emails.

Since we are all so full of optimism about these November Geo-pref emails.... let me take the liberty of assuming that we actually get them in November.
In that case, when, hypothetically of course, could we expect to start receiving referrals and PEPC invites? I'm assuming about 2 months later after looking at some Pubnat 2 signatures, but maybe they are a bad example.
Anyone want to venture a guess? Essentially, I looking for a "best case scenario" timeline for Pubnat4, with a hint of reality of course.anic:

Next panels are in January, so assuming PUBNAT3 & 4 are combined, referral lists should be out any time before the panels (PUBNAT2 referral lists were posted the day the panels started) and PEPC emails should be out by the end of January/beginning of February.

not much we dont already know but the "panels after january 1st" peice made me think were not getting a spot on the january panels.
