Glider soaring / Vegas

I'll be doing my best to squeeze in some glider flights while in Vegas. Hopefully a bit more scenic than florida.

Is anyone familiar with the operations out there? The dry lake near Jean seems to be the place.

Also, if anyone else is interested, please discuss.

At the very least, I can probably give someone a free glider ride.

I have heard a few good things about the operation in Jean. I think they have an LS-4 for rent if you want to get away to do some exploring.

Slushie might be a good guy to ask. He did a lot of fly out of Jean and may know someone. Ive flown near that lake bed plenty but have never seen or heard of any glider action going on.

Okay, going up for a bit at 1:00 PM on Oct 20th. Should be fun, everyone I know that has been soaring out there has enjoyed it. Looking forward to a change from the Florida thermals.
