But I won't miss her, not in the least bit.

Well, now that I think back, I do miss exiting the class D airspace vertically rather than laterally. I also miss trying to break my short field records. 800' is the best I could do...
I also miss doing overhead breaks.

I don't have any jet time and don't know what they can do, but it knocked my socks of whenever I leveled at 6,000 feet, five miles from the airport.

Simply it could get more Altitude (thousands of feet) than Distance (miles) on departure.

I have almost done that in the dash.
