Okay, I know this has been debated on here before, and I'm not asking the value of a Gold Seal certificate. I just have one question:
If your CFI renewal doesn't expire within the two year period you had the 10 signoffs, do you still qualify for a Gold Seal? To clarify, here's the case. If you got your CFI in August of a certain year, and had 10 signoffs before August of two years later, but your CFI renewal isn't due until almost another 9 months later because you added on to your CFI (II or MEI) resetting your renewal date, do you still qualify for a Gold Seal at the time of renewal? For that matter, do you still qualify to use those sign offs for renewal, since some of them happened before you upgraded your CFI, hence they were more than two years before.
Confusing enough? In short, I'm asking if the signoffs have to be in the 24 months before the renewal, or can they be in any 24 month period before the renewal?
