Shoot,

Did you say work? Are you serious about working my butt off? I can't do that, time to sign up for a new class!!

Actually everyone has been telling me that, so I know I am in for a surprise. The only reason I am doing it now is because I want to be hired for the fall here.

i'm gonna try to get hired too. the forecast is for a BUNCH of instructors, like over 60. that's just the rumors i've heard. nothing substantiated, naturally. i'm kind of worried that since i've never worked dispatch, records, etc. etc. etc., other people might have a leg up on me, but then again with as many people as they're looking to hire, there might be an ok chance of getting in.

and yes, be prepared to work. i know a couple kids that are going to be in your class, told them all the same thing. it's work, but it's rewarding. it's a lot of fun too. good luck on the aerodynamics outline and the lesson plans - my aero outline was 36 pages and i hand-drew and scanned most of the illustrations and there are 26 lesson plans. mine are about 2-3 pages each.

for your spin flights, i recommend that you do at least the 28 with dunlop. he'll show you a bunch of stuff that the other guys either don't know how to perform or are too scared to - cross-control spins, inverted spins, you name it. he's quick, too, my whole 28 was .6

sweet!! enjoy the arrow again, it's a hoot.

ISBE 320 and 325. I sure am glad last semester is done. doing a group project with that lucas kid was a nightmare. Never showing with anything done at our apatment...

Well you guys already know I'll be going.

BUT

Hey! Just got the schedule yesterday.
It seems like the "flight lab" will be from 7:30-10AM Mon-Sat

They've assigned Jon Eliel as my instructor. I checked the directory at UND, and apparently, he's a senior. Anyone know him?

So that's pretty much it. I'll be taking 102 and 103.

Wow, that's a coincidence...

John is a friend of mine and was my instructor last semester. Good guy, you'll like him a lot.

Edit: He graduated two or three years ago I think. I know he is trying to get in with a unit flying C-17's back home in Seattle so I don't know how much longer he'll be around.

What can I say, I am lazy and don't do much for school! But at least I am not tubby!!

Who is your instructor for 325 Chris? I have a few suggestions of someone you will have fun with if you'd like. But, I am sure you already have one.

I have scott thompson. he is an excellent instructor. I had him for 222 so I know what to expect.

Yeah tubby sucks a big ole you know what. The thing that pissed me off the most was when he said "Im gonna have you do this..." Like he ran the whole show or something. I hate him.
