i'm gonna try to get hired too. the forecast is for a BUNCH of instructors, like over 60. that's just the rumors i've heard. nothing substantiated, naturally. i'm kind of worried that since i've never worked dispatch, records, etc. etc. etc., other people might have a leg up on me, but then again with as many people as they're looking to hire, there might be an ok chance of getting in.
and yes, be prepared to work. i know a couple kids that are going to be in your class, told them all the same thing. it's work, but it's rewarding. it's a lot of fun too. good luck on the aerodynamics outline and the lesson plans - my aero outline was 36 pages and i hand-drew and scanned most of the illustrations and there are 26 lesson plans. mine are about 2-3 pages each.
for your spin flights, i recommend that you do at least the 28 with dunlop. he'll show you a bunch of stuff that the other guys either don't know how to perform or are too scared to - cross-control spins, inverted spins, you name it. he's quick, too, my whole 28 was .6
sweet!! enjoy the arrow again, it's a hoot.
