This looks like a very neat little jet. I'm curious about the louvered intake though, is the purpose of opening this to simply increase air flow/volume to the turbine at low airspeeds, so it gets closed in cruise flight, or is to to actually create a low pressure suck/lift up above the leading edge of the wings. This does not have vectored thrust, right?
