XJT TA Rejected!

So the next move is to the company. You think they will finally buckle and offer one list? I mean it's not out of the realm of possibilities at this point, they really have no cards left to play.

You really think so?

My bet is that they park 20 aircraft as a shot across the bow within 30 days, and then offer the SAPA agreement.

You guys got that number for truck masters? You know? That truck driving school?

I think I'm going to need it.

Truck Masters? Nah, all I have is:

Company E-Mail to all Employees:

is absolutely clueless and we should get rid of them just like our MEC and ALPA for that matter. Industry-leading contract? Or like ALPA sells it, "Industry leading concessionary contract". Give me a f'ing break!

They never specified whose viewpoint it was "industry leading" from.

The TA was "industry leading" for the management , since their industry consists of paying flight crews as little as possible while giving themselves giant bonuses, so by those standards, the TA was indeed industry leading,

Ain't that many, not out of 450. Anyway, it'd basically right size the staffing levels.

I'm just saying that the company has a plan for those 50 seat rj's with out without a pilot contract. I think they already know what they are going to do and any planes that get parked will just be used as propaganda but would have be parked either way.

Oh look! Day after the rejected TA and the company forgets to pay us our full paycheck or even at all.

Hope the violation to status quo is dealt with swiftly and aggressively, as the company would react in a swift and aggressive manner if they felt the status quo was violated.

Yeah. I only got paid half of guarantee. I got shorted about $1600!

I'm assuming it's only a "computer glitch", but the timing of this couldn't be any worse.

dayuuum, that a mortage, utilities, and car pmt..... What the hell happens if you ahve auto-deductions....?

Since this is affecting a lot of the pilots, would this be an issue that the union would address? I mean, they were sending e-mails left and right on how we should vote but haven't heard a peep after the vote.

Kidding right? The union stepping forward, in this climate, to at least give the impression that they are working to solve the problem? Keep dreaming.

Although, as a communication strategist that was working internally to help improve just that very thing, if I was still working on their behalf I would have certainly recommended it.

But - alas - we did too good of a job and people didn't like being challenged, so - now there is no comm committee folks to advocate on behalf of the pilots available to do such a project, considering we (the two of us on the committee) have families, enjoy our time off and - oddly - our time flying the line.

You'll get crickets.

If one misses the mark so much, especially since they were selling it hard, that is disgusting.
