WWII Gun Camera footage, Japan...

Really incredible find, Bunk. I kept thinking.......man, has technology changed. It always amazes me, in the scale and depth of WWII and how that war from an equipment standing was fought. Everything was up so damn close and personal.....which naturally and sadly led to the loss of so many men and so much equipment in the way of tanks, aircraft, ships, etc. Those types of strafing runs/missions were incredibly dangerous for the pilots who flew them. I've watched some B-25 and P-47, P-51 etc,. footage and man, it's powerful stuff on a gut level.just as much as were the air battles/dog fights fought. Makes me ponder so many things about the soldiers and how they were able to accomplish what they did, the environment, the planes, the bonds they had with one another, what they must have endured/been thinking, the loses......just so many things .
