Want to Buy WTB Lightspeed Zulu

Hi, I tried the same thing a couple months ago. Not many people want to split with their zulu. I did a little more research and found that Lightspeed actually offers a no credit check payment plan. You pay 250 up front, they ship you the new zulu and you get 50 dollars taken offer your credit card or bank account to pay for it. 0 percent from what I beleive. Might be worth looking into rather than getting a used headset.

Where did you find this?

I don't know if they are still running it but they had a trade in for older headsets when I got mine. I bought a used 20-3g for $150 and got something like $400 when I traded it in.

The zulu is a great headset.

I saw the trade in deal they had going on their website. Unfortunately, I don't have a lightspeed/other high end headset to trade. Oh well...

Give lightspeed a call. I'm currently on the payment plan as we speak and I'm definitely wearing a lightspeed, so I am not mistaken.

One other thing I might suggest and I don't know if it will work with the payment plan, take a look on ebay and try and get a lightspeed headset cheap. I think I saw a QFR soloC for under 100 bucks shipped. Go ahead buy it and then trade it in for the ZULU. That would be another idea.

Youngflyer, glad I could help and hope it works out.

Wish I would have known they had a payment plan. Ive got the bose x. Wore a set of zulus last week and threw rocks at the bose when I took them off.

Payment plan for a gee whiz headset? I hope I never see any of you complaining about the horrible debt burden foisted on young pilots...

I will sell my Zulu's for $790.00 plus shipping.

I purchased them two weeks ago, and have used them about 5 times. They are in new condition. I have all paperwork including the warranty card, and original packing.

Dont worry. I ended up buying them from sportys and paying cash. :) Oddly enough when I got them there was a terrible fluttering noise on the takeoff roll, climbout, and parts of cruise. This mostly happens in the left ear, but sometimes in the right. I have tried adjusting the position on my head and it still does not work. Anybody else have this problem?
