Uh, I would imagine it wouldn't be very safe to be standing that close to a burning plane... :dunno: Well, I guess he has a helmet on.

Never know. Th impact angle in the car has more of a downward angle to it indicating something hit it from above instead of a head on crash. On the other hand SUVs don't usually look that good after getting hit by something that big at 60+ MPH.

Could certainly be real!! Planes are actually pretty delicate things, pretty good for what they're built for but not exactly built to survive a head on crash with an SUV, either!

Anyone who's ever taken the cowling off of a 172 knows what I'm talking about.

:yeahthat: That Ford is probably twice the weight of the Piper, and no one would ever think you'd need an airbag!

Are you guys reading the comment on this article? Most people think that it is a fake.

Right, and it is a very narrow road, I can't see how the piper could land on this road and stay intact, the fire took it out, not the impact....does'nt look too real, to be honest with you.

The light aircraft had just taken off from a South African runway when it plunged down towards a secluded road near Krugersdorp Airport, west of Johannesburg.
The Ford ute, carrying three people, was travelling in the opposite direction when the two-seater Piper Cherokee ploughed into it before bursting into flames, South African newspaper The Times reports.

Reporters in SA are not any better at reporting aviation accidents. Amazing!!
