Worst aviation reporting ever?

Fodder for old men sitting on upside down plastic buckets in hangars.

“Sturdy MD-88’s”? :). Cute, but believe me, if my employer could stretch them out another 50 years and still be NEXTGEN compatible, they certainly would.

Aside from being a good looking airplane, the 757 is what the 737 wishes it could be..

But ATSG, Atlas-Southern, 'Amazon' et al don't fly them.

Atlas has 1 in CMI. Although the owner of that aircraft might do well to consider another company.

"Bring back the MD80!"

Sounds like it was written by a member of childrentalkingaboutairplanes.net.

Not sure why this is newsworthy. Repurposing pax airliners as freighters has been happening for 70 years now.

I had a meeting yesterday with a particular carrier that shares a name with a cruise line, who in a recent call from a news reporter was asked: 1) what they were doing about their cruise stranded ship (wrong on two fronts!), and; 2) if the ship was built by Boeing and, if so, if MCAS could be responsible for the incident.

Good reporters should throat punch that reporter on general principle.

The last MD90 will be retired when the first A350 is parked

Well, have your lovely wife do it and film it! IN LANDSCAPE! :)
She'd have cross checked and gotten her facts right, for damn sure. The fear of getting things like that wrong are what keeps her up at night.

Now, landscape? That's just crazy talk...

I meant like have her beat the other reporters ass while streaming “world star!” :)

Oh. That.

Yeah, totally. She'd probably shove an Associated Press Style Guide up their kazoot for good measure.
