Winter Gloves

Does anyone have any suggestions for winter gloves while flying? I am trying to find some that still allow good finger movement for switching COMM/NAV knobs, lights, etc. Maybe something that is thin but still warm. Any suggestions?

I use my motocross gloves...cheap, very nimble fingers and you can grab extremely hot parts if you need, you could also use "mechanix" style gloves, their made for working on automotive stuff so the fingers are very nimble, you can get em off ebay for dirt cheap ($10 or less) and they work great for flying...just be sure not to get the thick heavy duty ones.

They don't provide much in the warmth dept, but a pair of driving gloves or nomex military flying gloves are better than nothing in the cold while preserving some degree of dexterity. The important part is thin leather on the fingers, think batter's or golfer's gloves. (Nomex gloves are a little thicker and thus a little warmer that either of these options).

I use the gloves that they make for football receivers. I figure that if they can keep people's hands warm enough to catch footballs thrown at them by Brett Favre when it's -20 in Green Bay, they ought to do the trick for me!
