I will be cruising around on this for the rest of the summer, until it is too cold. 55mpg average between city/highway is double what my car gets, gonna like filling up for 6.00/week instead of 45.00 :D

so if you see me, try not to run me over :p

That's awesome. I will be soon enjoying riding this to work everyday. Civic averages around 30 MPG city/hwy combined... I want better :D As soon as he buys his GSX-R 600, I get it handed down to me.

Currently my brother's... very early-90's paint scheme :D

Wow holy Miami vice paint scheme! I test rode one of these today at the local Honda dealer. It was amazing!!! Looking at getting a sportbike similar to this next spring when I'm a rich UND flight instructor :sarcasm:

Sweet bike. Love the tank art work. You should throw some HUGE velocity stacks on those independant throttle bodies though. haha

I'd love to get a bike if I lived in a warm area. Here it's too rainy and soon it's going to be too cold. :D 318ti can get 40mpg if you drive nicely. Driving back home I was averaging 35mpg.

it is fun to ride, but not in the thunderstorms after the workshop yesterday!!!

i would love to redo the exhaust but that requires a lot of tuning, which the bike could probably already need, but oh well

So did you end up taking the North Dakota motorcycle course??? I'm about to get my permit here in CA... then take the motorcycle course through the California CHP (highway patrol).

bah, motorcycle course! i have some DVD's and every day i ride i practice a little bit more.

Killed it twice in traffic this week, whoops! finally am starting to master the clutch on this beast, it is tricky. The controls are easy, it is just this particular clutch is very quirky.

btw: if anyone sees me, feel free to come up and say hi, i would love to meet a few more fellow JC'ers in person

You should definitly stick out. I'll yell at you if I see you. I'll be the dude in the white old lady car with HIDs driving like a dick. haha :D

Over about 700 miles or so today, I averaged around 31 mpg in my 2001 Cougar. I could probably fall asleep for a while and stay on the road because Highway 2 is so straight.

Already had some fun at the Alerus parking lot during the summer. I can't wait till the roads get a little slippery. :D I'm staying at Legacy apartments too so I'm really happy that I get a garage.
