Who here was last recalled or hired for a major?

Jetcareers is a pretty big buch of pilots, im wondering who was the most recent pilot to be hired, recalled, or even had an interview with a major airline. I hear stories all the time about guys going to the regionals, but havent heard anyone going to the heavies, im hoping its because i havent been around very long.

I don't think you'll see recalls (other than the 250 at DL last year) at UA, AA and DAL for maybe another year at least... I believe NW and CAL have been recalling e-v-e-r so slowly now. We're all hoping for it, we all want to see this industry take off again like it did in the late '90s...unfortunately, it's gonna take a while.

It's funny, when I hired on at AA in early '00 everyone was looking at jobs with LCCs such as Airtran, Spirit, ATA etc. as stepping stones. Now everyone wants to go to those carriers and they look at a job with a major as pretty risky - who can blame them! Amazing how fast this industry shifts around.
