Jetcareers members,

Some of you may already know, but I was hired by my flight school to handle advertising, internet traffic, and recruiting. I am also completing my flight training and will act as a CFI once my training is completed.

I welcome any questions and comments in this forum, and I will do my best to get your questions answered in a timely fashion.

Let me take a quick moment to tell you what we are all about. First of all, we are a small FBO based flight school. We are nowhere near the size of most of the flight schools you will find online. However we feel that we have a good product, and would like to expand our horizons beyond the local market. At this time we are one of the busiest flight schools in Kansas, with more students than the larger cities. This growth can be attributed to word of mouth advertising from our students, quality training, and fair prices.

I invite you all to take a look at www.flywhiteair.com

I am available via email at van@flywhiteair.com and also by PM.

Thanks
Van Ward

good work van. Martha and I have been talking about getting away from all the "hustle and bustle" (as she calls it) of the city. Maybe Chanute would be great for us. Do you have any housing that isn't on the airport? We'd like some quiet alone time :)

site looks great. I'm glad you fixed all the spelling/grammar errors :):)

For now we do not, but eventually I am sure we will.

I like the straightforward no B.S. language they use regarding PFT and time building. If this flight school were located near MSP, I would be all over that. I wish more schools had that kind of integrity so that more new pilots could be exposed to it.

Please tell them to fix the grammer errors in the FAQ, especially in "How do I build my hours to become employable?". Looks bad. :)

Almost as bad as spelling errors. ;) BTW, clumpinglitter are you flying out of Flying Scotchman at MIC? I was looking through your pics and saw them. Another user here, Dazzler (crazy Englishman), is Cfi'ng there and I started my commercial there, but haven't paid my dues... I think they took me off the list. Need to get back there. You cannot beat their prices. I did my ppl/ir at Tbird(KFCM). Dang was that $$$$$. Welcome to JC !

Uh, yeah. "Grammar". Anyways, I was flying out of Scotchman -- I did the multi commercial with them. That place is cheap as hell, and the maintenance on the Duchess seemed really good. And they were super nice to me. The only reason I don't fly out of there more is because MIC is kind of a long drive for me. So I don't know many people out there other than my instructor. I did air rides at MIC a few weeks ago, and one of the other air ride pilots had an accent, so maybe that's Dazzler.

Yes, it was me. I remember talking to you after the air-ride event. We were discussing the insane crosswinds!

That whole day was windy and bumpy as hell. I didn't get a single complaint about it from any passengers, though. And most importantly, nobody puked. At least not in my airplane.
