Re: Where to go to get a High-Performance endorsement in VRB
Paris Air only has Seneca Is and IIs, neither are over 200hp. I am going to look into the FlightSafety Seneca sim.
The Seneca II is an high performance, it`s rated 215 HP at 12000 feet (the regs don`t say anything about that), I asked many FSDO and they told me it was ok for me to get the endorsement on it.
Even on some old FAA FAQ it says the Seneca II is high performance.
Ask Steven Ritter if he still flies that Aztec in Vero , the owner is a really cool guy, he may be able to do it for you. If Steven can`t help you send me a PM and I will give you the phone number of the guy.
It would be nice if you can find something with turbo so that you can learn a bit of that too.
btw do you know if at the FSA pilot shop they still have material on the Seneca III, like: ck list, procedure manual, PIM....? I`m looking for that
If you check out the Seneca SIM next to the FSA pilot shop could you please ask to the person in charge if they are selling it, I may be interested for some customers down here in Brazil, you would do me a big favor, tell them I was a former FSA CFI...
