Where to fly to?

Hello,

I have earned my Private Pilots license about two weeks ago, I fly a PA-28-182 out of Nashua, NH. Right now I'm trying to find some good destinations to fly to, I know a few such as the Sanford cafe, Mantaulk, CT, and Providence town, MA, but that is about all I know, does anyone else have any recommendations or airports with nice cafes? I can only fly to airports with paved runways over 3000ft according to east coast Aero clubs insurance policy.

Block Island....not sure if the rwy is 3000 though, Montgomery orange county has a nice restaurant (mgj), Sky Acres (44n)

So many choices... KSLK/Lake Placid is fun - spend the night at the Mirror Lake Inn if you can (awesome restaurant). KTEB or KHPN and head into the city for the day, KHYA and walk over to the Star City restaurant, KMVY and KACK, KPVC are the obvious ones, and KPVD has a few restaurants you can walk to.

MGJ has a good restaurant on the field.
MVY has a good breakfast.
BID is only 2500ft.
3B0 had a restaurant the last time I was there. Not sure if it's still open.
HPN has awesome cheesecake in Panorama (and you can do the Hudson!)
FOK had a good breakfast the last time I was there. Again not sure if that's still open. Gate code was the tower frequency.
CQX has a small restaurant for breakfast. Wasn't bad.
IJD has some stuff right down the street.
LCI has nice scenery :)

The last time I was home, I made a day trip with some friends. Flew from SFZ-HPN, got our cheesecake, flew the Hudson south and flew 500ft up the southern Long Island talking to JFK tower, landed at ISP. Had a friend pick us up and we all took the train to NYC for the night. Got back to ISP at 10-11PM (they stayed open late for us!) and flew back to SFZ.

Im not familiar with the area, so I cant recommend any good places to go. I just wanted to throw in my congrats.

They might be a little far, but if you want some lengthy flights, N14 (Flying W) has a decent airport restaurant so I've heard (I've not been there)
LNS (Lancaster, PA) Again is probably fairly far, but has a good restaurant.
Congrats on the private!

I am down at 7B3 in Hampton which is probably the coolest destination in the area but unfortunately it does not meet any of your requirements.

As a matter of fact, nearly every airport I frequent does not meet your requirements.

Plum Island is very neat and nostalgic but it too short.
Minute Man/Stowe MA is a nice stop with a neat restaurant but it too short
Sandersons field (private strip but visitors are welcome) is one of the coolest grass strips around about 5 from PSM but it is grass and pretty tricky since the elevation change between one end to the other is 100 feet+

Great cafe to stop at...fitchburgh is neat, next would be North Hampton MA and you know about Sanford.

Check out adventurepilot.com or something along those lines, its a neat site which will give you a bunch of ideas.

1B9- Fun grass strip to land on.
KEWB New Bedford has a nice restaurant there.
KMVY has a good restaurant.
