It's sad; we've been hoping to make this for years. But we have to bid vacation in Sept for the next year and I'm not in a good bidding position. So, vacation ends 10/8. Have a great time!

Still not sure if I can make it or not. Depends on how the monthly bid goes, since I used my last vacation week to pick up a Thanksgiving vacation that dropped into open time. If I go, I'll probably stay at the MGM or Palazzo.

I'm going to try my hardest to make it this year. I'm currently in the running to be a LOSA observer for bid that starts on the 9th of October and since it's a bid transition weekend, I don't know if I'll be off or not.

Once it gets closer to time, if someone wants to split a room, I'll be game. I might even throw in a bottle of something to get the party started.

Another option is to do the name your own price on priceline. Select 5 star on the strip... It's nonrefundable though. Should be able to get something cheap still... maybe...

Is there a NJC officially scheduled for this year? I know D&K wanted to avoid the mega-scale of last year, but are there any dates in place yet? I bid for October in the next few days.
