10. Airline pilots and navigators
Job Description: Airline pilots, copilots, and flight engineers pilot and navigate the flight of multi-engine aircraft in regularly scheduled service for transport of passengers and cargo.
Very happy: 49.1%
Median hourly rate (airline pilots, copilots, or flight engineers): $63

Hourly rate - so, since the average public doesn't know how many monthly hours of pay credit we get a month (and you can't blame them for not knowing), this article lets the reader assume that we make $63 x 40 hrs/week x 52 weeks/yr = $131,040! Wow, where do I sign up?

At least it didn't say that max flight time was 100 hours a month. Then "Joe the average citizen" would think all pilots were working 10 days a month and living large the rest of the time <sarcasm>.
