When to start?

I am 14 years old, in my sophomore year, and I live in Athens, Greece. I have dual citizenship and I am bilingual. I travel to the US every summer for about 2 months and on the winter for about 3 weeks.
I already have done an introductory/discovery flight when I was over there.
Do you think I should take flight lessons when I am over there or wait till I finish high school to do it all together while in college?
I got an itch to fly btw :D

If you are planning on only doing training while in the US (2 months in the summer) then I would say wait. You will not retain the information from summer to summer and 2 months is probably not enough time to get a rating done.

Plus, you can't solo till you're 16 and can't get the rating till you're 17. However, if you were in the states all the time (or pursuing elsewhere), I don't think 15 is too young to start actively taking lessons. By shortly after your 17th birthday you could realistically be ready for both a private and the instrument rating. 14 may be pushing it a little. You could still log hours and learn, but it would be a lot of money to remain proficient till the time you could take a practical test.

Thanks for the reply.
There is a possibility that I might be moving to the US for my Junior and Senior year so I will probably get it done then. If I won't go I'll just do discovery flights every year :)

Two months is plenty of time if you aren't doing anything else ;) I would wait until you are old enough for the checkride though
