What Written Exams for CFI/CFII/MEI/Ground Instructor?

If I go for the CFI/CFII/MEI/Ground Instructor, what "written" exams does one take and what books are needed to study for them?

I recommend the Gleim Test prep CD. They have specific courses for CFI and FOI. For the II, the questions are the same as for the instrument ticket and there is no written for MEI.

So there is a written for CFI, FOI (which would be Ground Instructor?) and CFII. In other words, 3 writtens, correct?

CFI
FOI - Fundamentals of Instruction
AGI - Advanced Ground Instructor (I believe) not req

CFI-A Flight instructor airplane
FOI Fundamentals of Instruction
CFI-I Flight Instructor instrument
AGI Ground Instructor
IGI Instrument ground instructor

Nothing for the MEI. Bare minimum, you're looking at three writtens (CFI-A, CFI-I and FOI).

And 5 if I go for AGI and IGI, correct? But AGI and IGI are not required if all I want to do is be a CFI/CFII/MEI?
