What other pilot forums are available?

This is the best forum you'll find. I used to be active on a handful of other forums, but they're all a waste of time.

Airline Pilot Central Forums. But it's almost impossible to sign up unless you have a non free email account. ie: no gmail, yahoo, juno, hotmail. So how is one suppose to sign up and post there?? One of the internet's greatest mysteries.

Free email accounts like yahoo, mail, gmail, etc are the scourge of the internet.

Spammers use them, uninvited users that can't refrain from being a bonehead love 'em, it's a simple way to cut down the amount of time you have to spend daily trying to figure out if your new user is straight-up legit, or "\/\/ 0 \/\/ Gold CH3AP CH3AP CH3AP!" or "Booo hoo haaaa! I gots banned, but I'm back!"

pay your cable company for a static i.p.

Run linux.

Set up a mail server (usually installed by default)

voila.

it's very easy actually.

You use whatever service you use to hook up to the internet...if you have cox, comcast, roadrunner etc they all come with email addresses that you can use.

Not to toot our own horn too much but honestly, we have one of the best community type forums you'll find. I've been to some of the others out there and they just don't have that community spirit we do in wanting to help each other out...it's more about bicker, complain, fight, bicker, stay unhappy than motivational, hopeful, instructional, networky and pay it forward like.
