WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG IN OKC

I have been back and forth with my AME... and the latest round has been "under review" in OKC for more than 4 months. Pretty soon I'll need to go back to the AME because my MEDEXPRESS expired. YOUR thoughts are appreciated.

It can take a long time- heard of one case taking three years going back and forth with them.

Unfortunately it is often manpower related. When they are short staffed it can take a long time. I always try to keep my decisions at the Regional Flight Surgeon level if possible.
