What is FlightSafety like?

As I said in another thread, I get to go to the FlightSafety Navajo training in August. For those of you who have done this (or, I guess, any FS class), what is it like? As far as schedule, what all is covered, how they torture you in the sims, etc?

I have a feeling these guys are gonna be itching to dump every malfunction their sims can do on "that student pilot"...

thanks!

What center are you going to? Is this initial training? You are given more malfunctions in recurrent training than initial. Initial training usually consist of a week or so of ground school (depending how complex the aircraft systems are) then a week or so in the sim. Classes run 8am till 4pm with an hour break for lunch. It's a good idea to have read the chapter before you cover it in class. The sim sessions run for 4hrs with a short break in the middle and to swap seats. You'll spend 2hrs in each seat. Sim sessions can begin anywhere from 6am to 8pm. Early is more likely though. The first couple of lessons will be doing routine procedures to get you used to the aircraft, introducing various malfunction later on, usually saving the hardest stuff for last.

Hope that answered some of your questions.
