First time poster here! Woohoo!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Been a member for a while but this is my first post. Anyways, I am curious how people feel about the Flight program at Western now? I read a earlier thread, about a year old, that did not have too much good stuff to say about the program. I am considering a change in colleges (want to be closer to the gf) and I am looking at WMU to transfer to. Just curious what people think. As of right now I am looking at finishing my degree and then entering a flight school (like ATP) or going the FBO route. Again just curious. Any imput would be jawsome! You'll find my thoughts on this topic here, and they have not changed recently.

Are you at State right now? If so...how are you flying? Or are you up at Nothern or over at Eastern or something?

Western as a school is just as solid as State and Central. In my opinion, it destroys every other public school in the state save for Michigan.

If you want to know some specifics about the school, shoot me a PM. I'm knee deep in band camp so it might take me a few days to get back with you, but I'll let you know what's up.

Thankfully I don't need a parking permit, I live down on Greenwood (one light down West Michigan when coming from campus), so I can walk to campus in 15 minutes and probably get there on my bike in half the time. So if I had to park over by Lawson and walk to classes it'd probably be just as quick to walk.

You see the band practicing over at Lawson? The band kinda sucks in comparision to other years, but the drumline is going to rock people. You should totally make it to the first game on Thursday!
