Worldwide Aviation Support Services Rockledge, Florida:<BR /><p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Provide aviation support services to the US Department of State, Bureau of International Law Enforcement Affairs, Office of Aviation (INL/A) has an immediate requirement to support the office of the Coordinator of Afghan Relocation Efforts (CARE) by providing aviation Subject Matter Experts (SME) and operational management support to facilitate ongoing CARE current and future operations. The future operations cell is primarily focused on mid-range planning to meet anticipated aviation support requirements. This cell must also coordinate and collaborate with the current operations cell to assess the need to modify planning/operations to achieve future objectives.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Basic Responsibilities:</p> <p>The AACs will be required to but not limited to:</p> <p>- Submit flight clearances for USG and Commercial aircraft to include AC4S.</p> <p>- Provide CARE flight manifesting and data entry.</p> <p>- Provide passenger boarding, escorting services, and airport access support.</p> <p>- Contact passengers, partners, and host-nation officials to assist with flight planning, manifesting and airlift operations.</p> <p>- Support and coordinate with the CARE AC4S flight operations contractor, A/LM office, and current ops on flight and related administrative matters.</p> <p>- Assist and track Afghan evacuees in assigned locations as well as those arriving by ground and/or air.</p> <p>- Update program documents and reports for submission to the CARE team or Embassy leadership.</p> <p>- Prioritize safety and security in all aspects of the mission.</p> <p>- Actively maintain case management documentation concerning issues impacting owner/customer flights. Manages crew communication center and provides timely responses to Flight Crews.</p> <p>- Receive inbound communications from flight crew and adheres to departmental policies and standards concerning phone call statistics.</p> <p>- Initiates and conducts training within his/her respective area of responsibility as required by meeting all contract objectives.</p> <p>- Plan and coordinate flight routes in support of DOS air movement and plan all customer air movement for the daily manifest.</p> <p>- Responsible for coordinating incoming aircraft schedules and organizing cargo onto aircraft as required. - Perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>- Create a Common Operating Picture/Aviation Tasking Cycle with all locations, all passenger with who is moving where, when, and how.</p> <p>- Operations Branch on International, and office of the Coordinator of Afghan Refugee Relocation Efforts (CARE), through the INL/A advisor.</p> <p>- Perform Falcon View flight scheduling, tracking, and reporting. Passenger and Cargo manifesting, control, and reporting services.</p> <p>- Provide flight tracking wheel up and down at each location throughout the mission.</p> <p>- De-conflict flight dates and locations with OCONUS -Lily Pad- sites via daily (work week) TEAMS coordination calls.</p> <p>- Coordinate flights with Aircraft providers - A/LM and AC4S. Contact passenger, partners, and or host nation officials to assist with flight planning, manifesting and airlift operations in support of CARE office.</p> <p>- Assist with APAC clearances when required and be on call to provide updated flight tracking and reported as may be needed.</p> <p>- Perform Other Duties as assigned.</p> <p>- Position requires a U.S. security clearance.</p> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required:</p> <p>- A.A./A.S or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an Air Operations Center, Direct Air Support Center, Base Operations, Command Post or commercial customer service experience in airline booking, scheduling or operational position required.</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <p>- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Airman Certificate, military service, and/or internship with an airline or flight department is desired.</p> <p>- Afghanistan and or OCONUS operational expertise.</p>
