First, thank you Doug and Kristie for creating a website like this, for if it weren't for you guys I wouldn't have had the conversation I am here to write about.

I have had a few questions about Utah Valley Online and was told that one of JC's finest, Bumblebee was currently attending. I decided to ask him about it on facebook and in turn, he gave me a call so we could have a chat and clear up any of my questions. Not only did he answer all of my questions, he gave me some great insight on a career and networking.

I think Dough and Kristie mad a great choice by asking Dale to be a mod, and I want to thank you Dale for taking the time out of your day to help me out.

It really is nice to know that their are people like that out there.

And remember people, there's a face and person behind every avatar and screen name.

Great post. So what do you think about the UVU program? I've always been curious about their online program from all the ads.
 
Not a problem. I just set up the stage ensure the microphone is plugged in and that there's no dork screaming "GOLDEN PALACE DOT COMM!!!111", then you guys do the rest! :)

I'm a student there, and I love it. I even visited the campus prior to enrolling in the online program and I was very impressed. Anyone who tells you UVU is a diploma mill or they're unaccredited doesn't know anything about the school. They are a state school like any other state college, they just happen to have an online program for Aviation Science. I find the gen eds to be somewhat challenging I certainly learn a lot from them. The aviation classes are a bit of a joke.. it's basically just a system to get college credit for earning your ratings (they are easy A's though, as long as you do the work on time.) Like I said, overall very happy with UVU and I made Deans List this semester :rawk: That always feels good.
 
One of these days I'm going to be a Mod here.... There'll be a special subsection of the Lavatory called "The Drunk Tank" where we can drunk type and post pictures of chicks in bikinis. It'll basically look like the "demotivational poster contest" thread on baseops, except there will be unedited drunk posting.
