Is there any way to check online and see if the FAA has mailed or sent your permanent certificate?

As of Today 2 minutes ago: "We are currently processing permanent Airmen Certificates for temporary certificates that were issued approximately July 25, 2015."

I just added a type recently. That sentence on the FAA site is a rough guess at best (I did my checkride on 7/21 and I have had my permanent for a couple weeks).

What I did was every once and a while login and look myself up. One day I noticed it had my new type and date on it. A couple days later I had the permanent certificate.

Once it updates on the website you'll have it in a matter of days.

Nothing that I know of, but there is this.

Says they are currently processing certificates issued approx July 25th.

There is a phone number on that website you can call if you think there has been an error or are just wondering if yours got skipped over.

I had to call it this summer when my ATP certificate was delayed. The system said they were processing applications several weeks past mine, and I still didn't have mine. It turned out the FAA had apparently sent it back to the company for a correction, but the company didn't know.

So if the system is processing applications past yours, you might want to call them.

Thanks. I tried to call and worked my way through the automated system only to get a long recording of something like this, "please go online and submit a form to send a new certificate out to you, ....etc."

Do you have the phone number by chance?

FWIW, just renewed my CFI in July and got it a few days ago. 60 days is about what they're running.

Login to IACRA. If your application status is "Completed" or "Received By Registry" then it hasn't been mailed yet. If it's "Registry - DOCS Complete" then it's in the mail.
