WAAS / LPV training requirements beyond AC90-100a?

AC90-100a provided a detailed list of training requirements for RNAV/GPS approaches to DA minimums.

I'm trying to find a similar document with training requirements for WAAS approaches to LPV minimums. We may be acquiring Universal FMS with WAAS/SBAS capability and will want to lead that delivery with any required training beyond what was done in accordance with AC90-100a.

Zap, I assume you're straight Part 91 (as opposed to 91K or 135)? If that is the case, the training guidance given by AC 90-100 simply states that you must make yourself familiar with the operation of the systems and components and anything pertaining to flying RNAV procedures. It doesn't say how you have to come to be familiar with the system. To me, if you can demonstrate application and usage in the simulator and/or on the line, you have shown familiarity. Now, in your case of being a part of a medium to large flight department, it probably isn't a bad idea to develop some sort of standardized training, which I'm sure was done.

Same goes for WAAS. We got WAAS capable GNS 430 units installed in our Cirrus, and a week after it came out of the shop, I was flying approaches to LPV minimums. In the week prior to my first approach to LPV minimums, I familiarized myself with the unit, its operations, its integration with the autopilot, and the graphical presentations of the navigation guidance on the GPS and PFD. Again, to me, that shows familiarity and would comply with any AC published on the topic.

Out of curiosity, how was the RNAV/GPS "training" accomplished?
 
We are part 91, but hold ourselves to the higher (more conservative) standard of part 135 or 121.

So whatever training requirements exist for those operators, we comply with as well. For example for RNAV/GPS training we do a simulator component at FlightSafety during normal recurrents and a CBL that flight crews take annually over the internet.
