Visiting a Dispatch Center

Hi everyone, I've really enjoyed reading all the different threads and forms.
I graduated Summer 2009 with a degree in ATC from CCBC. I learned alot and enjoyed the classes, but now I beginning to think that ATC is not the right career for me. I'm seriously considering taking a different path by getting my dispatch license and pursuing a career in dispatching. However, first I want to visit a Dispatch Center. Is there anyone in the Portland or Seattle area that could give me a tour?

Horizon Airlines' dispatch center is in Portland. Alaska Airlines' dispatch center is in Seattle. Just contact the airline's main office, explain your interest, and I'm sure they would accomodate you. Never met a dispatch manager yet that didn't want to show off a little.
