Vision waiver for Army Flight Physical Class III

Good morning-(At least from my perspective, being in Germany).

A brief snyopsis about myself:
I am currently a 2LT CBRN Officer in the Army. In 2015, I swtich to MilitaryIntelligence as a CPT. One of the positions I was interested in is being a Deputy Mission Crew Commander, that I had found out about from a prior service member in BOLC.

I had originally joined the Army to become an aviator. My vision beyond sucks, with a 20/800 uncorrected, and a -9.00 refractive error. Yes, I had to get a waiver for vision for general service. I have already tried going through the Refractive Laser Surgery Program at Landstuhl, but was rejected for both PRK and LASIK (PRK for the borderline limit of the refractive error, and LASIK because of too thin corneas. With this information, I talked to one of the FLT Surgeons at Ansbach. The gist I received was that I should not be in the Army, let alone think about a waiver to fly anything.

So, several times I have read this board about "go after what you want", and intend to once I get back to the US. Is this feasible though, a waiver for my described situation? What I am asking is if anyone heard/know of the possiblity of receiving such a waiver with these conditions?
