This is kind of a bottom of the pecking order for flight attendant choices. Two years ago they paid 30k to start with a guarantee. Now they pay $20 an hour with no guarantee! Their flight attendants that are more senior are working international flights on the 767..new hires are based in Destin FL and doing turns. There are no jumpseat agreements and very limited interline agreements. They keep opening and closing bases... Concord closed, Punta Gorda closed, Miami closed, Ft Lauderdale closed....what is next?

Just an update, many flight attendants were laid off two weeks ago....senior flight attendants making $37 an hour....this company needs a union.

At ASA I have had the pleasure of working with a number of girls that have come over to ASA from Vision once they realized how poorly they were being treated there. All of them had great attitudes, excellent customer service skills, and could put a number of our senior ladies in the dugout.
