I know several low time european pilots with 250 TT and a 737 TR got in to this company. But when I applied for this job last year with 2000 hours and some Turbine PIC time, I didn't even got an anwer. Once I called them up and talked to them regarding my application, she said they were looking for JAA guys,,,so sorry.

That's nothing uncommon in Europe, usually you don't even need to be Typerated!!! Since flying is an expensive affair in Europe GA is not existent, and it's difficult to built time. There is only a very limited need for flight instructors, usually on part time basis, if you are lucky you might fly 100hr a year as a CFI! Without a JAR-FCL (frozen) ATPL anhd without EU-Citizenship it's pretty much impossible to get a flying job in Europe. Of course, this is not Europe. I'm just wondering, if they only want JAA Pilots, why don't they specifically state it in the job ad????
