My buddy NewsBot just posted something that may not be a big deal, but seems like it. Apparently Virgin America application has been denied with the US citing foreign ownership. Probably just gonna shuffle some money around, but sounds like a pretty hard blow right now.

Ehh... All we need is yet another snarky airline CEO.

"I'm the rebel billionaire, mate!"

i'm happy with the decision... last thing we need is another airline, not to mention one from another country lol

"I buy my groceries on a frequent flier credit card! I demand low air fares!"

Any of you been to LAS recently? Look at the executive terminal (where the Janet park). Its a brand new shiny A320 in Virgin American colors. Its been there for days now.

There's still CRJ-200s in YUL painted in NWA colors. Just b/c they're painted doesn't mean they're flying or will fly. :)

This one has been sitting almost a week. Im not sure how it ended up here. That area of LAS does a lot of mx so its possible it broke. Then again that area is where they stored old UAL DC-10s and 742s before taking them to the desert.

I read something somewhere that said they painted the aircraft and began moving them to places where their first revenue flights would take place.
