Vegas for $20

Also, if any of you guys/girls have those casino cards (such as Harrah's Total Rewards), call them or go online. They're GIVING nights away for free. They're also offering very discounted rates for other nights and a friends/family rate if you need more than one room. :)

I'm waiting until September to book my rooms.

By then, the hotels really getting beat down will be looking to paid their numbers for the end of the fiscal year.

HellOOOO deals. :)

Thats convention season. The hotels will increase their rates. Now is the best time to get the deals.

That's what I always do. I have yet to pay for a hotel room in Vegas for NJC the past few years. The Ballys is pretty nice!

I've always liked Ballys, but Seggy got a good deal out at the MGM this year, so I think that's what I'll end up doing. It's in a pretty good spot on the strip, too.

Seriously , don't overlook Hooters. I stayed there last year and I will stay again this year since I got a room at DIRT cheap prices. The rooms are decent, and its right in front of the MGM. All for like a 1/4 of the price of the MGM.

Hooters is now showing a rate of $35..... Damn good for location....

Does Hooters have any suites? I'm looking at the 750 sq ft suite at the MGM for a grand total of only $600 after taxes for four nights. That's a damned good deal.

Hooters does have some suites, but you would be hard pressed to find a better room, at a better price than what the MGM is going for.

Same here. Haven't paid for a hotel room in Vegas in quite some time. Last time I was in Vegas over night, the nice lady checking us in upgraded us to a luxury suite. Come to find out that those rooms go for about $500+ a night. Best part was I didn't pay a dime for the room. (my losses at the tables covered it anyway.) :panic:

At this point, one is forced to ask- where's the focal point of NJC going to be?

I'd like to be close to that. An elevator ride down to ground level was convenient. Being somewhere down the strip from the action would get annoying.

I wonder if O'Shea's would let me roll out a sleeping bag under a craps table.

i would say the 4 corners area....some are staying at MGM.. some are staying at Monte Carlo, 9FI is down in that area as well as most hot spots.
