Vaughn College

Hey guys does anyone have any current info on Vaughn? I did a search here but there hasn't too much info on it. How good is the place and what about its reputation? Does it have any good connections with local airports or airlines?

I had some students that went there for their "aircraft operations" major.....a pro pilot major at a school that owns 0 airplanes never made sense to me.

However, having talked to students that concentrated in ATC and maintenance, they seemed happy.

I believe for the pro pilot majors they get trained at local flight schools. I am planning to do flight training on the side outside of school anyway.

I'm a little more interested in the management majors. Since being right next to LaGuardia I was thinking maybe there is a chance to make some good connections with people there.

Location doesn't mean much as far as connections are concerned, for instance, the manager of LGA is good friends with a professor at the college I graduated from, and makes appearances often. Thats not to say that Vaughn doesn't have connections, but just remember location isn't everything.
